柯民思议员:林珊如"好的亚洲人"言论令人反感

Minns condemns Hanson and the comments of Shan Ju Lin that Asian’s are “good” if they support One Nation
新州柯民思州议员谴责韩森和林珊如“好的亚洲人支持一国党”的言论 

The member for Kogarah Chris Minns said today that comments made by Shan Ju Lin that Asian’s were “good” if they supported Pauline Hanson’s One Nation were utterly offensive.

今天，高嘉华州议员柯民思指出：林珊如发表了支持韩森一国党的就是“好的亚洲人”的言论，这绝对是令人反感的。

No political candidate should claim that voters are good or bad depending on whether they support their Party.

任何一名政党候选人都不应该因为选民是否支持该政党来区分他们是好是坏。

It is particularly bad considering Pauline Hanson’s long history of racism towards Asian and Chinese Australian’s.

联想到宝琳•韩森长期以来针对亚裔和澳洲华人的种族主义观点，这一表态尤其拙劣。

In 1996 Hanson claimed that Australia was in danger of being swamped by Asians - earlier this year Hanson said Hurstville had become a “Ghetto” because of Asian immigration.

1996年，韩森宣称澳大利亚处于被亚洲人淹没的危险之中。今年早些时候，韩森说由于亚裔移民，Hurstville（好事围）变成了只顾自己社群的、不与当地人同化的贫民区。

Mr Minns challenged Ms Lin to come to Hurstville in the heart of the Chinese community in Australia and defend Hanson and her behaviour.

“Pauline Hanson has never retracted her racist comments about Asian Australians.  She has been against this community from the beginning nothing has changed.” Mr Minns said.

“宝琳•韩森从来没有收回过她针对澳洲亚裔的种族主义言论。她从一开始就反对亚裔社区，而且一直没有改变过。” 柯民思议员说。

Rather than defending the comments of Pauline Hanson, Ms Shan Ju Lin should stand up to her and call her out for what she is, a racist who is deliberately dividing Australian against Australian.

与其为宝琳•韩森的言论辩护，林珊如女士应该勇敢地面对韩森，大声说出韩森是一名故意让澳洲人分裂澳洲人的种族主义者。
