Purpose of the Position
The programs that you support are a broad range of administrative support and customer service to our prospective and current students.
Key Accountabilities
• General reception duties - Handle enquires from prospective and current students via face to face, email and phone etc.
• Maintain knowledge of the educational products within the relevant study unit, and give written and verbal advice to students in consultation with RTO administrator
• Provide student support and assistance throughout the course
• Manage student records
• Advise on course timetables and general student handbook issues
• Assist with classrooms set up
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Stocktaking and ordering stocks
• General campus maintenance
• Assisting when required with student support services
• Assisting when required with compliance from RTO Administrator
• Secretarial services for Trainer requests
• Preparation of Letter of offer and CoEs processing
The criteria for this role include:
• Enthusiasm, adaptability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Fast learner
• A positive outlook
• Commitment to working in a team
• Proven experience in a customer service environment
• Relevant experience in a similar role in the education industry is desirable
• Exceptional administrative, organisational, communication and customer service skills
• Strong PC skills - especially in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail
• Strong ability to multi-task
• A flexible, helpful, friendly and outgoing personality
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• The ability to speak another language is desirable but not essential
• Able to be comfortable in the face of adversity.
