Brighton Lawyers is a boutique law firm situated in the heart of Burwood within walking distance from Burwood station, practising Commercial Law, Litigation, Family Law, Conveyancing, Immigration Law and Wills & Estate. It serves a variety of clientele from different ethnic background, predominantly those with Asian background.

We are currently looking for a Full-time Legal assistant to assist our team on Conveyancing, Commercial, Migration matter and Public Notary. You are not required to have any background in law but prior experience in working in an office environment is preferred.

You will also assist our Principal and solicitors to manage their diary, client communication, general administrative duties and billing.

Given the firm's clientele, you will need to be able to speak advanced Mandarin. The ability to speak Cantonese is highly regarded but not necessary. You will also need to know how to read and write Chinese (either traditional or simplified)

Successful applicants should demonstrate their ability to resolve problems critically and be able to meet set deadlines. Effective communication skills, willingness to learn and attention to details are a must given the nature of the work involved.

Remuneration to commensurate with experience. Law students who cannot work full-time will not be suitable for this position. Flexibilities on working hours will be considered for the right candidate who has family commitments
