工作介绍

The primary roles of the Accounts & Administration Officer are to support the functioning of the business by performing a range of routine accounts and human resource administrative tasks. This includes typical accounting processes such as payment and tracking of accounts payable and staff expense claims, generating customer invoices, performing month-end accounting closes, and preparing management reports for lodgement of BAS and annual financial reporting. The officer is also responsible for online banking transactions and the preparation of cash-flow and other management reports.

In addition to accounting tasks, the officer handles human resource administrative processes, which include monthly payroll processing, calculation and distribution of sales commissions, processing quarterly staff performance bonuses, preparing offer letters for new prospective employees, setting up new employees in the accounting and banking systems, and making payments to superannuation funds.

To succeed in this role, a high level of accountability, pro-activeness, maturity, responsibility, and the ability to work under limited supervision are required. Essential skills include demonstrated experience in using Xero accounting software or a similar tool, experience using online banking tools for transactions, discipline and organization, pro-activity and self-initiative, advanced skills in MS Word/Excel/Outlook, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong administration skills, keen attention to detail, and reliability.

Desirable qualifications include bookkeeping/accounting and/or payroll processing certifications, a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience, and the ability to work after hours if required.

As the Accounts & Administration Officer, you will report to the Operations Director. The role calls for a self-starter with an excellent track record in managing a broad range of accounting and human resource management functions. This is a position for someone who is ambitious to grow with the organization and take on additional responsibilities with a 'can-do' attitude.
