Now we are looking for an experienced Procurement & Planning Officer:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Raising purchase orders for raw material and packaging materials
 Liaising with suppliers – domestic and overseas
 Liaising with freight forwarders, work with warehouse to prepare pick and packing slip
 Updating product and pricing data in the share folder/system, require good Excel skill
 Working with set supplier pricing
 Looking at inventory levels
 Work with production, following up with customers requirement to ensure ETA's are being met
 Support cycle counting and stock take processes.
 Work collaboratively with the team and liaise proactively with Sales and production to ensure successful production plan and well organized inventory administration
 Raise weekly inventory & planning report.
 Negotiate pricing.
 Teamwork & commitment to support manufacturing and packaging operations to meet client requirement. You need to get into the production area cross check daily output frequently.
 As planning officer, you need to focus on FG output and wastage rate to issue daily and weekly reports. Make a forecast of the release date for each project.
 Well organized skill to make a workable plan prioritize weekly and monthly production goal for each project to meet client requirement.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Demonstrated experience in procurement, production and/or distribution planning.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
-Excellent communication, negotiation and co-ordination skills
-Ability to show initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Must have 1-2 years related working experience in health food industry, or food & science background.
