Duties
Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports, and contribute to the monthly financial accounting processes including General Ledger Reconciliations, processing of journals and accruals
Liaison with external partners and stakeholders
Assisting in all internal and external reporting as required
Research and understanding of corporate accounting policies and ATO requirements
Track payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and statements related to relevant projects
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing reports to balances
Maintain historical electronic accounting records
Research, ad-hoc and administration tasks to support Management and team members
Skills and Experience
Proven ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, and organise work in an efficient manner to achieve set objectives to agreed timelines
A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
English and Mandarin speaking
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to translate ideas, concepts, and information
High levels of accuracy with a strong attention to detail
Proficient skills working with XERO software
Previous experience in an accounts receivable, accounts payable, or finance officer position
Previous Bookkeeping experience is vital
Intermediate to advanced capability of Microsoft office products (particularly excel)
To be ideally successful in this role you will
Have an energetic and flexible approach to work and learning new skills
Have strong work ethics
Have enjoyment in working with numbers and a can-do attitude when working with new tasks outside accounting scopes
Be intuitively sensitive to the organisational needs
