The apartment is on the main commercial road of Ashfield, with 1 minute walk to shops and restaurants, 5 minutes’ walk to Ashfield shopping mall and 8 minutes’ walk to Ashfield station, from where it takes only 13 minutes to go to the city on an express train. Ashfield RSL is across the road, where you can get a buffet dinner for $12 only Monday to Friday.
The apartment is the biggest one on the ground floor of a medium-rising building with 30+ only units in total. There are only 5 units on the same floor, so you won’t be disturbed by too many neighbors.
Tiles are throughout living room and bedrooms, with a big courtyard accessible from the master room and a little terrace accessible from the living room. The living room and the master room are very spacious. Total area for your use is 179 square meters, including the yard, terrace and a secured car space in the basement.
The master room is very spacious with around 24 square meters, ensuite, a big build-in wardrobe in the corner which is comparable to a walk-in robe, access to a big courtyard and a new and energy efficient reverse cycle airconditioner.
Both bedrooms are with mirrored build-in wardrobes, with an extra mirrored BIR in the living room to provide more storage room. Both bedrooms have double glazed windows/sliding doors to enable you to enjoy both the prime location and quietness.

Heating in the living room, cooking and hot water are all powered by gas to save your energy bills.
Video intercom is available in the living room to enable you to see the face of the person who is ringing the bell at the gate to the building.
The terrace is covered, with view of a beautiful garden at the back of the building. It provides abundant sunlight in a clear day to dry your clothes (fixed cloth lines are available) and grow your flowers and other plants.
The property is managed by the owner rather than an agent to ensure quick response to any problem.
Rent is $585-595⁄week (unfurnished, with only water bills covered). Basic furniture and appliances can be provided for $50⁄week extra rent. A low price furniture shop is only a few meters away. Minimum lease period is 1 year. 4 week bond applies.
Up to 3 adults plus children (if any) can live in the apartment.
You will be required to prove your capability to keep paying rent on time and will be expected to take reasonably good care of the property when you live in it, without the need to be frequently visited or closely monitored by the owner. You will be also required to prove you can legally stay in Australia for at least one year. To prove your financial capability, you either need to show stable income in the form of salaries (not wages paid in cash from casual jobs) or an adequate bank deposit. So a family of mature professionals (with or without children) is preferred to a group of young students.
A pet may be considered by the owner on a case by case basis and at least one week more bond may apply.
