We are a small private psychological practice in Sydney CBD running for over 15 years. We are registered psychologists that are dedicated to help people reach their potential for a more fulfilling life, as well as to enhance their desired effectiveness and wellbeing. We provide therapy and counselling for a wide variety of issues, including psychological disorders, loss, grief or trauma, entrenched negative life patterns, relationship complications, and problems concerning children. We deliver critical, timely and culturally appropriate services for all stages of life focusing on the local and Asian community.

This position is a great opportunity for you to gain experience in counseling or clinical work. The role is suited for someone who is confident in their ability to learn, wants to make a meaningful contribution to the workplace and community, and can provide high quality services to clients. This involves forming relations with Chinese speaking stakeholders as well as other individuals, and enabling communications to our Chinese client base. Basic knowledge of social media within the Chinese community in Australia is desirable but not essential.

Position Requirements :
- Received or studying a degree related to psychology or counselling
- High fluency in Mandarin speaking skills; high proficiency in English writing ability
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in developing client-facing skills is essential, e.g. counselling
