Brighten Technologies is one of the major telecommunications infrastructure construction partners in NSW and ACT.

Our business is growing, and we are looking to fill vacancies in our NSW telecommunication project with Fibre splicing and grow business opportunities.
Tasks & responsibilities
· Fibre splicing and integration including both NBN DFN & LFN and TPG FTTX.
· Installing communications racks and structural cabling
· Installing equipment line cards, fibre SFP modules and associated interfaces.
· Installing network equipment including earthing and DC power cabling.
· Fibre Installation (Preparation, handling hygiene & termination of Ribbon & Multi-core fibre)
· Fault Finding.
· Labelling to required standards.
· Testing - Insertion Loss Testing & OTDR of all Fibre Cables
· Scope of works preparation, material ordering and reconciliation.
· Safety & Quality Inspections & Non-Conformance Reporting.
· Maintain the skill levels of workforce to meet client needs.
· As-Built Documentation including red lines, artifacts and completion of fibre workbooks.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• NBN / TPG qualified technician with at least 1-year experience
• Skill 9 Fibre inspection and cleaning
• Skill 12 Testing and commissioning live fibre
• Skill 13 Fibre splicing
• Skill 21 Build Fibre Enclosures & Install Splitters
• NBN enable Online Trainings
• Police check: Must be clear with no convictions
• Implement Traffic Control plans
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements including WIs, SWMS & Risk Assessments.
• Ability to read, understand and mark-up telecommunication construction plans
• Experienced on install and splice DJL/FJL/BJL/AJL/MJL/CTL /PCD etc.
• Able to Travel to NSW Regional/ACT sometimes, travel and accommodation cost will be covered.
• Able to work outside working hours sometimes, after hours rate apply.

Job Type: Full time/Subcontractor
Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour depends on experience or pay per job as a Subcontractor

Work Eligibility:
• Permitted to work with no restriction on hours
