About the role:
- Research, identify and develop relationships with potential suppliers on a daily basis
- Organise and manage all product samples after evaluating and comparing offers from vendors
- Place orders for all the sourcing needs of the business
- Ongoing management of purchases and negotiate pricing/contract with suppliers that meet the standards of the company - i.e. cost, quality, quantity, specifications & lead time
- Maintain relationship with existing suppliers to achieve the best cost-saving opportunities for the company
- Administrative and Ad-hoc duties as required by management
About you:
- You will need to be available 5 days a week and be passionate about your job (flexible schedule preferred as we also have a part-time position available)
- You have past experience in a procurement/supply chain or similar role but we strongly value an enthusiastic, friendly and positive working attitude
- Qualification in the supply chain management, accounting, or relevant field
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong communication & negotiation skills - you are assertive, sociable, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised - you have a natural desire to keep plans, prioritise duties, strong attention to detail and get all agendas completed on time and ensure nothing is missed
- Proactive - you have a can-do attitude and work well under a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, taking responsibility for work outcomes

- Hours are usually standard 9am-5.30pm, with a bonus 4.30pm finish on Fridays
- We are based in Surry Hills, conveniently located right next to Central Station
