POSITION:
Accounts Officer, Permanent full time,
Reporting to Project director
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for an organization that will provide flexibility and balance. We are ideally looking for someone who can start within the next two-four weeks. As part of a team of finance and administration, this role will provide end to end bookkeeping and accounting support to the business whilst partnering closely with the stakeholders to deliver quality reporting and ensure smooth functioning of the organization's finances.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key responsibilities will include:
-Manage and perform the accounts receivable functions
-Issue and collection of building progress claims and payments
-Manage overdue progress claims and resolve customer cases
-Effectively identify, manage and minimize potential doubtful debts
-Accounts payable functions
-Assist reconciliation of bank accounts balances and month-end reporting
-Preferably competent with Software Data Build
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Previous experience accounts receivable, collections and invoicing
-Processing supplier invoices against purchase orders
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Excellent time management skills, enabling deadlines to be met
-A proactive, highly motivated approach
