Company Profile Australia Institute of Business and Technology and Australia Institute of Business and Technology - International are privately-owned registered training organisations (RTOs), which operate separately under the one banner of AIBTGlobal. AIBTGlobal, through the two RTOs delivers over 90 different Australian qualifications to international students from over 70 countries. AIBTGlobal has two types of international students - those looking towards academic pathways to universities and those interested in vocational training to gain skills to be job ready. To continue riding on the success story of AIBTGlobal, we require a course co-ordinatore to continue our strong presence in the VET industry. You will be responsible for assisting in our National Campus Manager and other schools to help deliver overall growth and long-term sustainability of AIBTGlobal.

This is course coordinator role responsible for providing high level administration support and coordination to Edison School of Tech Sciences.


Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Provides high level support to the Edison School of Tech Sciences for the day to day operations of the school throughout the various campuses.
• Facilities the adoption of a system culture, philosophy and skill level across Edison School of Tech Sciences that is consistent with education and training best practice.
• Coordinate, support and participate in tasks and projects in relation to the scope of registration, quality, compliance and continuous improvement practices of the Training Organisation (RTO) operations.
• Demonstrate and apply proven high-level knowledge and understanding of training packages and curriculum requirements including innovative program design, development and implementation within an education/training environment.
• Be accountable for the information, data records, retention as required by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Managing contact with the students on compliance with school's policy related to their responsibilities while studying with AIBT
• Managing communication with the students on behalf of the faculty.
• Assisting students in day to day problems related to course delivery and assignment submissions
• Ability to take delegation and manage tasks based on guidance provided.
• Recording and monitoring the students’ attendance, course progress and following up with the students who are at risk of not maintaining satisfactory course progress to make sure that they follow college’s policy
• Providing friendly and effective support, assistance and general advice to the students in person and on the phone/ by email on day to day issues
• Assisting academic training manager regarding course delivery and qualification requirements
• Ensuring all the training package requirements had been met by the student prior to the issue of any qualification
• Processing student enquiries, applications and enrolments
• Creating, updating and maintaining student, staff and agent files electronically using JobReady and in hard copies.
• Reporting and providing administrative support to the manager, including making appointments, record-keeping, filing, support and participate in tasks and projects in relation to the scope of registration, quality, compliance and continuous improvement practices of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) operations.
• Demonstrate and apply proven high-level knowledge and understanding of training packages and curriculum requirements including innovative program design, development and implementation within an education/training environment.
• Be accountable for the information, data records, retention as required by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
• Ability to take delegation and manage tasks based on guidance provided.
• The coordinator needs to support the Edison team in organising the workshop after the end of each class
• The coordinator needs to ensure the account of all the equipment in the workshop
• Issue the engineering equipment’s and tools to the students for practical work.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of workshop for routine operations

Specific tasks include, but not limited to:
• Managing contact with students on compliance with school's policy related to their responsibilities while studying with AIBT / AIBTI
• Managing communication with the students on behalf of the faculty
• Assisting students in day to day problems related to course delivery and assignment submissions
• Recording and monitoring the students’ attendance, course progress and following up with the students who are at risk of not maintaining satisfactory course progress to make sure that they follow the relevant policy
• Providing friendly and effective support, assistance and general advice to the students in person and on the phone/ by email on day to day issues
• Assisting National Campus Manager regarding course delivery and qualification requirements
• Ensuring all the training package requirements had been met by the student prior to issuing any qualification
• Processing student enquiries
• Creating, updating and maintaining student files electronically (using JobReady) and in hard copies
• Reporting and providing administrative support to the manager, including making appointments, record-keeping and filing
• Preparation of completion certificates and other necessary documents.
