Victoria & Hancock is a dynamic and fast-growing law firm located in the Sydney CBD. The firm is
specialising in Corporate law, Commercial Litigation, Family law, Immigration law etc. We seek
volunteers who are currently undertaking their Practical Legal Training and are seeking a
placement in a reputable law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work in a team under the direct guidance
and supervision of the Principle.
The successful candidate must be a positive and reliable person who is willing to be mentored
and is highly committed to their ongoing career development in the law.
Requirements:
• You must have already completed your law degree;
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin);
• You will be reliable, well-presented and have a ‘can-do’ attitude;
• Be able to work full-time or part-time, at least 2 days a week;
• Be proactive, motivated and hands-on;
• Eager to learn and be part of a close-knit team;
• You are accustomed to working in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment;
• Self-driven with excellent time-management skills;
• A commitment to excellence in a practical high-pressure learning environment;
• Strong work ethic with the ability to meet working deadlines;
• Completion of their initial law degree with some previous placement exposure;
• Highly organised and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently without supervision;
• Prior legal experience in commercial, immigration, family law preferable but not essential;
• Experiences in marketing, sales, social media and website management are highly regarded.
