Hill Street Construction Pty Ltd is a Sydney based Construction Company, with a solid experiences in residential and commercial development. The company are dedicated to superior workmanship and adheres strictly to the budget, schedule, and service commitments. The company has an experienced management team who can deliver satisfactory services and excellent results to clients in both project and site management. We also provide services to our client in land acquisition, feasibility analysis, and DA/CC application and approval.

工作介绍

The role and responsibilities are not limited to following:
• Review estimates to confirm margins/budgets.
• In conjunction with site team, analyse various cost/construction options to determine most cost-effective alternatives.
• Send, gather and analyse quotations, negotiate with subcontractors, pursue extra quotes where necessary and write contracts and purchase orders after approval.
• Liaise with project manager & site manager to determine subcontractor scope of works and the letting of subcontracts.
• Working within the construction team and under the instruction of site management to carry out the scope of work.
• Administering the contract through all stages of construction.
• Developing a thorough knowledge of the contract including obligations in regards to time, costs and local council regulations.
• Ensuring company procedures are followed by all subcontractors including subcontractor material procurement.
• Co-ordinating documentation between the office and construction teams.
• Organise and submit delay notices and extensions of time.
• Visit sites to check job progress if required.
• In conjunction with site manager, liaise with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve issues.
• In conjunction with site manager, attend site meetings.
• Scheduling – ordering materials and quantity take offs.
• Cost control, monitoring and reporting in conjunction with project manager.
• Preparation of project cost reports and forecasts each month, including preparation and review of site bill of quantities.
• Collate and submit variations.
• Administering internal and external variations.
• Take part in handover of estimate with project manager & site manager, contract manager and estimator.
• In conjunction with project manager, check tender drawings against contract.
• Update and distribute latest drawings to all the subcontractors.
• Assisting with the coordination of trades on site.
• Liaising with local councils in regards to regulations and contract specifics.
• Attending meetings and providing construction updates as required
• Maintain project contact list.
• Control contract documentation including; drawing issues and architect’s instructions.
• Follow up on building license and copy conditions to architect and site manager.
• Submit drawings to Authorities and pay fees.
• Ensure insurance is in place and compliant.
• Prepare and issue subcontractor’s progress claims after approval.
• Reviewing and check invoices from sub-contractors and suppliers.
