We are a boutique accounting, tax and business services firm based in the inner west of Sydney and we are now looking for an experienced intermediate accountant to join our office on a full-time basis.

As part of the team, you will work closely with the partners to ensure we deliver high quality service to our clients.

The role involves client facing meetings, client services, preparation and processing of Business Activity Statements, Income Tax Returns, Financial Reports, general and specialised business services and much more.

Qualifications Required:
• A minimum of 1-2 years of taxation experience within an Australian accounting firm.

Skills and Responsibilities:
• Aware of issues relating to CGT, FBT, Division 7A, Payroll, and Superannuation.
• Managing business client’s Xero file, including performing bank reconciliation, preparation of quarterly BAS, lodgement of STP, preparation of financial reports and tax returns for various types of entities.
• Communicating with clients and assisting them with day-to-day enquiries.
• Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required.
• Experience using Xero Practice Manager, Xero Tax, and Microsoft Office.
