Duties:
The Compliance Assistant works under the direction of the Senior Compliance Officer and in collaboration with staff members in other departments. The Compliance Assistant is responsible for assisting the document preparation, providing administrative support to the Compliance Department, and maintaining files.
Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures
Assistance in the preparation and collation of reports and registers
Communicate with other departments and help with the preparation of different programs (e.g., bank account opening, PSP/LP onboarding)
Develop and arrange compliance training for staff, and main the training records.
Assistance in handling complaint cases, including collecting information, drafting responses, and maintaining all records and correspondence.
Draft Terms & Conditions for promotion programs, maintain marketing/advertisement-related registers and conduct social media monitoring
Report scam websites to hosting providers and regulators (if needed), keep records and update the progress
Liaise with agents and other businesses to obtain and provide the required information.
Provide administrative support to the team, including doing research, information collection, data collation, and document formation
Ad-hoc duties as requested
Requirements:
Exceptional communication skills, English-writing skills, problem-solving skills, and independent research skills
High attention to details
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work in multi-discipline teams and multicultural environments in a reliable and highly professional manner
Responding and resolving queries in a timely manner
Degree or Diploma in a relevant subject area (such as Finance, Law, Business, Accounting)
Experience in a similar compliance role (preferred but not required)
