Small, global, very niche pharmaceutical organisation is looking for an outstanding sales manager to manage their specialist sales representatives throughout NSW and QLD. This role’s primary purpose is to achieve all set business objectives, for this region, and approved budgets, manage these objectives and ensure that profitable business growth is achieved.
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining an optimal environment for a high performance sales team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Promoting learning & development and developing the competencies of each specialist sales representative through effective coaching and co-ordinating the activities of the representatives is also a priority.
Other key areas this role will be required to focus on will be the implementation and monitoring of sales force effectiveness programs and ensuring a high level of representative productivity, (as measured by key performance indicators such as contact rates, contact frequency, etc...), through effective coaching, however, quality is preferred over quantity of contact rates.
If you are keen to develop people, have proven experience leading a pharmaceutical sales team and have a passion for sales, this may be the right role for you. You will also need to be happy to liaise with KOL’s to develop relationships, alongside your sales team and to keep close to what is happening in the business.
Ideally you will have 3-5 years experience managing a specialist sales team with science or business qualifications.
